Flying with Angels, le dernier album de Suzanne Vega, rappelle ses albums les plus narratifs des années 2000, comme Songs in Red and Gray, mais Flying with Angels est loin d'être un retour en arrière. "We're living in a state of permanent emergency", chante-t-elle. Elle chante aussi sur le 'Last Train from Mariupol'. Cela demande avec insistance un mot souvent mal utilisé : 'urgent'.
