It's impossible to describe the rather genre-less music of Model/Actriz . We'll give it a shot, though, by mentioning names like DAF, Liars, Einstürzende Neubauten, and Britney Spears, terms like "no wave," "Hacienda," and "Dadaist." Apparently, there are still plenty of shady industrial estates in Brooklyn to record an album like Pirouette. to make a pop record mixed with relentless noise.
