DeWolff has never been very secretive about where they get their inspiration, but on Fuego They really do lay it out well. The band performs several of the (mostly not particularly well-known) blues tracks to which they are indebted, e.g., Mott the Hoople's "Roll Away the Stone" and "I Walk on Guided Splinters," made famous by Dr. John. What will immediately ring a bell is the guest musician on the Little Feat cover "The Fan": none other than Joe Bonamassa.
